The amount of collected water in the Kea’au aquifer is amazing. There is enough collected monthly to supply the yearly global demand. Waiākea bottles less than one percent of this drinkable water. Waiākea is extremely energy efficient and eco-friendly. Waiākea utilizes thirty three percent renewable energy, and twenty five percent of it is geothermal. Waiākea Springs has been able to achieve an astounding carbon neutral certification. The bottle used to contain the Kea’au aquifer water is 100% RPET. This means the bottle is high grade and and composed of recycled polyethylene terephtalate. These bottles use eighty five percent less energy to produce and ninety percent less water during production. Additionally, carbon emissions are cut by 90% during the creation of the Waiākea Springs water bottle.
